Before the shareholders' meeting, N&M installed a new kind of sound localisation system in addition to the proven audio set-up to test its qualities in practice. The result impressed in terms of performance and the system proved its worth for speech applications of this kind.

As capacities at the two locations had been exhausted, the project teams moved to new offices.

Along with the other company directors Stephan Hartmann and Alex Ostermaier, the 34-year-old will represent the company to the outside world. Jürgen Neumann and Eberhard Müller to end their active involvement in the company.

Training, qualification, a motivating working environment and trust-based togetherness were major criteria in being named "Best Employer of the Year". The award was presented to the company in Dubai at the beginning of April.

When the event industry gathers in the exhibition halls in Frankfurt from 10th to 13th April, Neumann&Müller Veranstaltungstechnik will not only be focusing on the search for innovations but also for industry professionals and apprentices.

The independent German Inspection Company for Entertainment Technology (Deutsche Prüfstelle für Veranstaltungstechnik, DPVT) has once again confirmed that N&M meets all quality and safety standards. The DPVT seal provides clients with solid assurances - and the company is motivated to pursue continuous internal improvement.

Jean Nouvel, the architect behind the Louvre Museum in the United Arab Emirates, named the spectacle "Rain of Light". N&M was engaged to implement the complex lighting for the event. As with his building elements, light too had a special role to play.

N&M was commissioned with the technical implementation of the "Astana Sphere", the German and Austrian pavilions as well as those for "Energy Best Practice" and Shell. An international team made sure that the best possible result was achieved despite some difficult circumstances on site.

At the beginning of the year over 100 young Germans and refugees started work on an integration project centred on the staging of a musical. During the course of the project, they not only learnt a lot about their own abilities but also learnt from each other. They then took to the stage together in Berlin, Hamburg and Leipzig - supported by N&M apprentices who contributed their know-how in the fields of lighting and audio.
