In March 2023, “Meeting in the Park” was the motto for the opening of the Scandic Group's latest conference hotel in Frankfurt. The building is located just a few metres away from the river Main and right next to the eponymous “Hafenpark” – the four-hectare sport and leisure park in the immediate vicinity of the European Central Bank in the city's Ostend district. It introduces exciting new features to the deluxe business segment with its 2,100 m² of conference and event spaces.

The “Ballroom” is the highlight of the almost 600 m² conference zone. This room can be divided into three separate, pillar-free event spaces by Germany's largest Skyfold walls, whereby the vertical partition system retracts into the ceiling. The Ballroom is equipped with a power supply system as well as with three small LED walls and can also be accessed by vehicles, making it ideal for congresses with up to 500 attendees as well as for creative event concepts such as corporate and product presentations.

The 14 conference rooms that make up the conference zone range in size from 33 to 200 m² and boast an inspiring design. They provide the perfect setting for corporate events and galas as well as for congresses, conferences, workshops, meetings and seminars. There are also numerous breakout areas or “Flexspaces”, which can be used for a variety of purposes according to individual needs – for example for a get-together or as an exhibition space. “We see ourselves primarily as an event location with hotel rooms. Our aim is to give our guests the greatest possible degree of freedom in the planning of their events and also to provide a setting where unusual ideas can be brought to life,” says Heiko Kain, General Manager of the Scandic Frankfurt Hafenpark.
