Livestream Studios at the ICM - Internationales Congress Center München

Building on a collaboration spanning several years, we have installed two streaming studios for virtual or hybrid events in the ICM at the Munich trade fair centre. Whether press conference, panel discussion or product presentation – reaching your worldwide audience is a simple, straightforward business with virtual events, whereby the slogan of Messe München GmbH also applies to its livestream events: “An attractive location gives extra polish to any event.” This has also been our philosophy since becoming ICM’s permanent technology partner back in 2003.

Overview of the studios

The larger of the two streaming studios provides 1,300 m² of space in the auditorium (Hall 1) of the ICM for up to 310 guests attending hybrid events. The fully utilisable 100 m² studio projection surface can show supporting content or be used as an atmospheric backdrop.

Measuring 390 m² and featuring a studio projection surface covering 20 m², the second studio is excellently suited to livestream events or press conferences with up to three moderators. The studio is installed in Hall 5 of the ICM and can be used for hybrid events with up to 100 persons in attendance.

Both studios are completely equipped with HD equipment and can be adapted to meet individual customer requirements thanks to the permanently installed stage machinery and lighting system. Visual highlights can be created using a variety of stage backdrops. Besides the required playback equipment for integrating your content (PPT, keynote, images, videos), the technical prerequisites are also in place for involving external speakers via the usual platforms.
