N&M presents Clariant stand at ECS in a perfect light

The European Coatings Show is the world's leading trade fair for the production of high-quality varnishes and paints, sealing compounds, construction chemicals, and adhesives. In the middle of March, around 1,000 exhibitors from 43 countries presented their new products to over 25,000 visitors at the trade fair, which takes place every two years at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre.

kubix GmbH commissioned Neumann&Müller Veranstaltungstechnik's Berlin branch office to plan and realise the rigging, sound, lighting and media systems for the stand run by Clariant, the Swiss speciality chemical group, at this year's ECS. Together with kubix, the N&M technicians developed a lighting concept which focused on the optimum, homogeneous and particularly bright illumination of the ceiling cloud. At the same time, the colour temperature needed to be adapted to match the illuminated strip running around the 120 square metre stand. The concept was realised using 140 SGM LED floodlights, which allow such a controllable colour temperature. A light diffusion film was installed between the ceiling cloud and the LED floodlights to ensure a harmonious overall impression. The sound concept was realised using bending wave loudspeakers and a subwoofer integrated into the seamless video wall.
